Power —Distribution of Thermal Energy

The system of distribution of heat power includes the following components:

• the central thermal unit (CTU) – unit of connection of systems of heatwater supply of a microdistrict (group of buildings) to distributive networks of a city thermal network and a water supply system. Functions: management of systems of heating, heat supply of ventilating installations, water supply and accounting of quantity of tempered thermal energy, heat carrier and water;
• the individual thermal unit (ITU) – unit of connection of systems of heating, a heat supply, ventilating installations and water supply of the certain building or a its part to distributive networks of a thermal network and a water supply system. Functions: management of these systems and accounting of thermal energy, heat carrier and water;
• input knot to the building – knot of input of pipelines of heatwater supply to the building in which they install shut-off valves, metering devices of thermal energy, heat carrier and water (separately on pipelines of heating and hot water supply), if ITU is absent.
